Episode 191 – France v. Cali Pinot Noir

D’Autrefois Pinot Noir

Beringer Founders Estate Pinot Noir

In this episode, Rob, Scott, and Becky pit California against France to see if either can produce a good budget priced Pinot Noir.  Unfortunately, D’Autrefois Pinot Noir (France) and Beringer Founders Estate Pinot Noir (California) are the flag bearers for their respective countries in this comparison.  Will one of these wines prove that Pinot Noir need not be expensive, or is it clear that Pinot Noir needs to be expensive? We shall see… on The Wine Vault.
